Remove a Fan Module

The fan modules are hot-service components that can be replaced if there are at least
nine operating fan modules. For the location of the fan modules, see
Locations" on page
This procedure requires that you handle components that are sensitive to electrostatic

discharge. This discharge can cause server components to fail.
1. Locate the faulty fan module that you want to remove from the server.
