Entering Text with the
Numeric Keypad

The numeric keypad is located to the right of the screen, under the status LED's.
The operator can enter values directly with the:
• numeric keys "0" through "9"
• decimal point "."
• minus sign "-"
Examples:
• Test gas concentration
• Date and time
• Air pressure
• Password
Any digits displayed cannot be overwritten. They must be deleted with the
BACKSPACE or CLEAR key before new digits can be entered.
The "Text Entry" section (see page 6-9) explains how to enter information such as
sample component or user names with the numeric keypad.
