Substitute gas calibration of the Magnos206 analyzer module is described using
the example of purity measurement of CO
For CO
purity measurements, the smallest concentrations of O

Since O
in CO
is not available as a test gas and, due to the O

by CO
(see "Magnos206 Operating Specifications" section, page A-2-4), the

analyzer module is factory-set for calibration with substitute gas.
In this case an additional measurement range is calibrated for 0-25 Vol.-% O
N
(N
and O
/N
mixtures are available practically everywhere).

• Calibrate zero with CO
• Calibrate span with dried air (containing 20.96 Vol.-% O
For other measurement tasks select the test gases and measurement ranges in a
similar manner according to the sample gas composition.
