Turn on the zero gas supply.

Open the 19-inch housing front plate or the wall housing cover.
Select the Optical adjustm. menu item.

Select the Sample component to be measured in the rear detector

(as seen from the emitter).

Minimize the (zero gas) value displayed by turning the applicable
beam path aperture adjustment wheel 1 or 2 (see Figure 9-4).

The measurement value is much smaller than 1,000,000 Go to Step 10.
The measurement value is greater than 1,000,000

Loosen the two emitter case mounting screws 3 and insert the emitter
wrench 6 in openings 4.

Turn the emitter case 5 until the displayed value is minimized.
(The minimum can be greater than 1,000,000.)

Tighten the emitter unit mounting screws 3.

Repeat steps 5-8 until a minimum value is displayed.

Close the 19-inch housing front plate or the wall housing cover.
