Press the power switch to the [ | ] position to switch on the power.

Restart the computer.

Using the Parallel Interface

This section describes the installation procedures for the parallel interface (optional).

Press the power switch to the [

Make sure that the touch screen is blank and the <Energy Saver> button does not
light up.

Open the front cover.

Press the main power switch to the [

Remove the rear right cover.

Insert the connector of the cable into the
machine's parallel interface connector and
fasten it with the clips on either side of the
connector.

Return the rear right cover to its original
position.

Connect the other end of the cable to the
computer.

Press the main power switch to the [ | ] position to switch on the main power.

Close the front cover.

Press the power switch to the [ | ] position to switch on the power.

Restart the computer.
