Smontaggio pedane
Le operazioni di rimozione di seguito
descritte sono analoghe sia per la
pedana destra che per la pedana
sinistra.
Per rimuovere la pedana destra,

rimuovere la pompa-freno posteriore
(A), svitando le due viti (B) e lasciando
collegata la pompa all'impianto.
Prima di rimuovere la piastra pedana
sinistra, svitare la vite (D) di fissaggio
comando cambio (C) al motore e
lasciare collegato il gruppo cambio
alla piastra.
Svitare le due viti (13) di fissaggio
superiore piastra al telaio.

Tra telaio e supporto pedana

lato destro è fissata la staffa di
sostegno del canister (solo per la
versione USA).
Recuperare le rosette (2) poste tra la
piastra e il telaio.
Svitare la vite (E) di fissaggio
silenziatore alla pedana recuperando i
dadi e le rosette corrispondenti.
Svitare le viti (3) di fissaggio inferiore
al carter motore.
Rimuovere la piastra portapedana
destra completa (8) recuperando
anche le rosette (11).
Per separare la pedana posteriore
dalla piastra di supporto, rimuovere
l'anello di fermo (5) e sfilare il perno
(4) liberando la pedana (7), i piastrini
(10) le sferette (9) e le molle (12).

Per separare la pedana anteriore dalla
piastra di supporto rimuovere l'anello
di fermo (5) e sfilare il perno (4)
liberando la pedana (7) e la molla (6).
Operare analogamente per la pedana
sinistra.

La rimozione della pedana è
possibile anche con piastra
portapedana montata sul motociclo.
Note
Le versioni DARK hanno le
pedane non gommate.

Removing the footpegs
The removal procedure described
below applies to both RH and LH
footpegs.
To remove the right footpeg, unscrew
the two screws (B) and remove the
rear brake master cylinder (A). Leave
the master cylinder connected to the
system.
Before removing the left footpeg
plate, loosen the screw (D) securing
the gearchange control (C) to the
engine and leave the gearbox unit
connected to the plate.
Unscrew the two upper screws (13)
securing the plate to the frame.
Note
Between the right footpeg
support and the frame is the canister
support bracket (for USA version
only).
Collect the washers (2) placed
between plate and frame.
Loosen the screw (E) securing the
silencer to the footpeg, collect the
nuts and the washers.
Unscrew the lower retaining screws
(3) on the engine casing.
Remove the complete right footpeg
plate (8) and collect the washers (11).
To remove the rear footpeg from the
plate, extract the snap ring (5) and
withdraw the pin (4) to release
footpeg (7), plates (10), balls (9) and
springs (12).
To remove the front footpeg from the
plate, extract the snap ring (5) and
withdraw the pin (4) to release
footpeg (7) and spring (6).
Repeat procedure for the left footpeg.
Note
It is also possible to remove the
footpeg even with footpeg plate fitted
to the vehicle.
Note
DARK version footpegs are not
rubber-coated.
