v DIMMs (see "Replacing a memory module" on page 274).
v Microprocessor and heat sink (see "Replacing the microprocessor and heat
sink" on page 304).
v USB embedded hypervisor flash device (see "Replacing the USB embedded
hypervisor flash device" on page 230).
8. Reconnect any cables to the system board that you disconnected during
removal (see "System-board internal connectors" on page 30).
9. Secure the cables with the retention-clips.
10. Install the hard disk drive fan duct (see "Replacing the hard disk drive fan
duct" on page 225).
11. Rotate the rear adapter-retention bracket to the closed (locked) position.
12. Stand the server back up in its vertical position.
13. Install and lock the side cover (see "Replacing the side cover" on page 182).
14. Reconnect the external cables and power cords; then, turn on the attached
devices and turn on the server.
Important: Perform the following updates:
v Either update the server with the latest RAID firmware or restore the
pre-existing firmware from a diskette or CD image.
v Update the UUID (see "Updating the Universal Unique Identifier (UUID)"
on page 113).
v Update the DMI/SMBIOS (see "Updating the DMI/SMBIOS data" on page
116).
v Reactivate any Features on Demand features.
