Activating the immobiliser

Apply the parking brake.

Turn the key to position 0 in the ignition
lock.

Remove the key from the ignition lock.
The immobiliser is now activated.

Getting into and out of the vehicle

WARNING
If you leave children unattended in the vehi-
cle, they could set the vehicle in motion by, for
example:
releasing the parking brake

shifting the transmission into neutral

starting the engine
R
They could also operate the vehicle's equip-
ment and become trapped. There is a risk of
an accident and injury.
When leaving the vehicle, always take the key
with you and lock the vehicle. Never leave
children unattended in the vehicle.

hand door)

WARNING
When opening a side window, parts of the
body can drawn into or trapped between the
side window and the window frame. There is a
risk of injury.
Make sure that nobody is touching the side
window before you open it. If someone
becomes trapped, release the switch or press
the upper section of the switch to close the
side window again.

WARNING
While closing the side windows, body parts in
the closing area could become trapped. There
is a risk of injury.
When closing make sure that no parts of the
body are in the closing area. If somebody
becomes trapped, release the switch or press
the switch to open the side window again.
