    Mirrors Adjust the inside and exterior rear view mirrors before driving so that you have a good view of the road and traffic condi- tions. Warning! In the case of an accident liquid electrolyte may escape the mirror housing if the mirror glass breaks.

    Parking and locking You have now completed your first drive. You have properly stopped and parked your vehicle. End your drive as follows. Warning! Wait until the vehicle is stationary before re- moving the key from the starter switch. The vehicle cannot be steered when the key is removed.

    Safety and Security Anti-theft systems Disarming the alarm system The alarm system is disarmed when you unlock your vehicle with the remote control. The turn signal lamps blink once to indicate that the alarm system is deactivated. The alarm system will rearm automati- cally again after approximately 40 seconds if one of the doors or the trunk lid is not opened.
