Operazioni di
manutenzione impianto
Attenzione
Il liquido impiegato nell'impianto
frenante, oltre a danneggiare la
vernice, è dannosissimo a contatto
degli occhi o della pelle. In caso di
accidentale contatto, lavare
abbondantemente con acqua
corrente la parte interessata ed
eventualmente consultare un medico.
Per tutte le operazioni di manutenzione
(controllo usura e sostituzione pastiglie
freno, sostituzione liquido freni, ecc...)
vedere alla Sez. D 4.
Smontaggio impianto
freno anteriore

Operazioni
Svuotamento
dell'impianto frenante
Svitare la vite speciale (6) di fissaggio
tubo freno alla pompa facendo
attenzione alle guarnizioni (4); sfilare
la tubazione (8) dalla pompa, allentare
le viti (16) del supporto (15) fanale e
sfilare la tubazione (8) dal supporto.
Rimuovere dalla tubazione i
passacavi (12).
Rimuovere la pompa (Sez. F 3).

Svitare le due viti (2) di fissaggio
pinza freno anteriore sinistra (10)
allo stelo della forcella.
Eseguire la stessa operazione per la
pinza freno destra (3).

Svitare le viti speciali (6) su entrambe
le pinze e separare le pinze freno
anteriori dal tubo (8).

Maintenance operations
Warning
Brake fluid is corrosive and will
damage paintwork. Avoid contact
with eyes and skin. In case of
accidental contact, wash the affected
area with abundant running water and
consult a doctor if necessary.
For maintenance instructions (brake
pad wear check and renewal, brake
fluid change, etc.) refer to Section D 4.
Removing the front brake
system

Drain the brake system
Remove the banjo bolt (6) securing

the brake hose to the master cylinder,

taking care not to lose or damage the
sealing washers (4); withdraw the
hose (8) from the master cylinder,
loosen the bolts (16) securing the
tail light support (15) and withdraw
the hoses (8) from the plate.
Remove the grommets (12) from the
hoses.
Remove the brake master cylinder
(Sect. F 3).
Unscrew the two retaining bolts (2)
securing the left front brake
caliper (10) to the fork leg.
Repeat the operation for the right
brake caliper (3).
Unscrew the banjo bolts (6) on both
brake calipers and disconnect the
front brake calipers from the hose (8).
