Engine
Rimuovere i tappi protezione (1) dai
tubi del telaio in prossimità dei punti
di fulcraggio del motore.
Posizionare un supporto sotto al
motore.
Svitare e rimuovere i dadi (3), sul
lato destro, in corrispondenza della
vite (2) di fissaggio anteriore e
posteriore (4) del motore.
Rimuovere la vite (2) di fissaggio
anteriore dal lato sinistro del motore.
Sfilare la vite superiore (4) fino a metà.
Rimuovere l'anello di sicurezza (A) sul
lato sinistro del perno forcellone (B).
Allentare il morsetto (C) di fissaggio
del forcellone al perno forcellone.
Bloccare il morsetto (B) destro del
forcellone serrando in questo modo
il supporto 88713.1515.

Spingere il perno forcellone (B) verso
il lado destro, fino a metà della sua
lunghezza ed inserire l'apposito
C
supporto cod. 88713.1515 sul lato
sinistro.
Bloccare il dado sulla vite del
morsetto sinistro forcellone, serrando
in questo modo il supporto.
Sfilare definitivamente il perno (A)
forcellone e le viti (2) e (4).
Inserire l'altro supporto sul lato destro
e bloccarlo con la vite sul forcellone.
In questo modo il telaio e il forcellone
risulteranno posizionati, pronti per il
rimontaggio del motore.
Sfilare dal telaio il blocco motore
completo (4).
Rimontaggio motore
Eseguire in ordine inverso le
operazioni eseguite per lo smontaggio.

B
Applicare grasso prescritto
e serrare i dadi (3) alla coppia
prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Rimontare le parti rimosse seguendo
in ordine inverso quanto riportato in
B
tabella e nelle specifiche sezioni.
Remove protective caps (1) from
the frame tubes in correspondence
with the engine pivot points.
Place a stand under the engine.
Undo and remove nuts (3) on the RH
side of frame in correspondence with
front screw (2) and rear screw (4)
fixing engine to frame.
Remove front mounting bolt (2)
from the engine LH side.
Slide out upper mounting bolt (4) to
half its length.
Remove safety ring (A) on LH-side
of swingarm spindle (B).
Loosen clamp (C) fixing swingarm
spindle to swingarm.
Tighten swingarm RH clamp (B)
thereby securing stand 88713.1515.
Push swingarm spindle (B) towards
the right for half its length and insert
support part no. 88713.1515 on the
LH side.
Tighten nut on screw of LH swingarm
clamp thereby securing engine stand.
Completely slide out swingarm
spindle (A) and screws (2) and (4).
Insert the other stand on the RH side
and secure it with screw on swingarm.
This procedure means that frame and
swingarm are now correctly positioned
and ready for re-installation of engine.
Withdraw complete engine block (4)
from frame.
Refitting the engine
Perform the operations in the removal
sequence in reverse order.
Important
Apply recommended grease
and tighten nuts (3) to the specified
torque (Sect. C 3).
Refit the removed parts by
performing the steps shown in the
table and in the specific sections of
the manual in reverse order.
