Sostituzione flangia
serbatoio

Svitare le sei viti (27) di fissaggio
flangia del serbatoio. Rimuoverne tre e
lasciare le altre tre in posizione a croce,
per aiutarsi a sollevare la flangia.
Sfilare la flangia (28) dal serbatoio.
Recuperare l'anello OR (A).
Sganciare con apposito attrezzo
27
commerciale le fascette (B) in
corrispondenza del filtro benzina (C).
Sfilare il filtro dalle tubazioni di
collegamento e sostituirlo.

Prima del rimontaggio pulire
accuratamente tutti gli elementi da
eventuali depositi o incrostazioni.
disporlo con la freccia, stampigliata
sul contenitore esterno, rivolta
verso la flangia.

completa di pompa e regolatore di
pressione: in caso di malfunzionamento
di questi componenti è necessario
sostituire la flangia completa.
Rimontaggio flangia

Introdurre la flangia con l'anello OR
opportunamente ingrassato e
procedere al rimontaggio eseguendo
le stesse operazioni dello
smontaggio nell'ordine inverso.
della flangia: deve presentare le frecce
e la scritta FRONT rivolta verso il
senso di marcia del veicolo.

Replacing the tank flange
Undo the six screws (27) securing the
fuel tank flange. Remove three of
them, and leave the other three in
place crossways, to facilitate lifting
of the flange.
Remove flange (28) from tank.
Recover O-ring (A).
Using a suitable standard tool release
the clamps (B) at the fuel filter (C).
Remove the old filter from the
connecting pipes and fit a new filter.
Before reassembly, carefully remove
any deposits or scale from all parts.
Important
When installing the new filter,
position it with the arrow punched
on the external housing pointing
towards the flange.
Notes
The flange is supplied as a spare
complete with pump and pressure
regulator: in the event of malfunction
of these components the entire flange
assembly must be replaced.
Refitting the tank flange
Introduce the flange with suitably
greased O-ring and refit in the
reverse order of disassembly.
Notes
Note the orientation of the
flange: ensure the arrows and the
word FRONT etched onto flange are
pointing in the direction of travel.
