Sensore temperatura /
pressione aria
Questo sensore viene alimentato
dalla centralina elettronica e fornisce
l'informazione riguardante la
pressione assoluta dell'aria in una
zona priva di turbolenze del motociclo
e ne rileva contemporaneamente la
temperatura. I segnali elettronici
ottenuti giungono alla centralina
elettrica dove vengono utilizzati per
ottenere le correzioni in funzione della
temperatura e pressione rilevati.
Note
Per eseguire la prova di

funzionamento di questo componente
è necessario disporre dello strumento
di diagnosi "DDS" (Sez. D 5).
Smontaggio sensore
temperatura/pressione aria

Per lo smontaggio del sensore
di pressione temperatura aria
rimuovere il cupolino (Sez. E 1).
Rimuovere il fanale anteriore
(Sez. P 4), scollegare il connettore (1)
del cablaggio principale dal sensore,
svitare le viti di fissaggio (2) del sensore
e rimuoverle dal telaietto anteriore.
Rimontaggio sensore
temperatura/pressione aria
Operare con il procedimento inverso
allo smontaggio e serrare le viti di
fissaggio (2) del sensore alla coppia
prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Al termine del rimontaggio ricollegare
il connettore (1) al sensore.
Rimontare il fanale anteriore (Sez. P 4).
Rimontare il cupolino (Sez. E 1).
Air temperature/pressure
sensor
This sensor is powered by the
electronic control unit and it supplies
information concerning the absolute air
pressure in an area of the motorcycle
that is not subject to turbulence,
simultaneously reading the air
temperature. The electronic signals
thus obtained are transmitted to the
control unit, where they are used to
make corrections in relation to the
detected temperature and pressure.
Notes
To check operation of this
component, use the "DDS" tester
(Sect. D 5).
Removing the air temperature/
pressure sensor
To remove the air temperature/
pressure sensor, remove the
headlamp fairing (Sect. E 1).
Remove the headlamp (Sect. P 4),
disconnect main wiring harness
connector (1) from the sensor,
unscrew screws (2) securing the
sensor and remove them from the
front subframe.
Refitting the air temperature/
pressure sensor
Refit in reverse order of assembly and
tighten screws (2) securing the sensor
to the specified torque (Sect. C 3).
When the reassembly operations are
concluded reconnect connector (1)
to the sensor.
Refit the headlamp (Sect. P 4).
Refit the headlamp fairing (Sect. E 1).
