Scollegare il connettore (C) del
cablaggio principale al motorino

Sfilare il corpo farfallato completo (11)
dal veicolo.
Smontaggio potenziometro
Sul lato destro del corpo farfallato, in

corrispondenza della farfalla del cilindro
verticale (MASTER) è montato il
10
potenziometro (14). Per smontarlo dal
corpo farfallato svitare le due viti (15).
Smontaggio iniettori

Allentare le fascette (8) di tenuta
2
iniettori con tubo mandata (7), tubo
ritorno (13) e tubo collegamento
iniettori (12).
Svitare le viti (5), facendo attenzione
alle rosette (6) per rimuovere gli
iniettori dal corpo farfallato.

Rimontaggio iniettori
Lubrificare gli anelli OR degli iniettori.

Posizionare le rosette (6) e serrare le
viti (5) alla coppia prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Smontaggio stepper motor
Nella parte centrale del corpo
farfallato è montato lo stepper motor:
per rimuoverlo svitare le due viti (21),

scollegare i tubi (22) e (20), (18) dal corpo
farfallato. Per il suo funzionamento fare
riferimento alla Sez. M 3.
Rimontaggio stepper motor
Calzare i tubi (22), (20) e (18).
Posizionare il motorino con supporto sul
corpo farfallato imputando le viti (21).
Serrare le viti (21).

Remove the fuel tank
Remove the air filter box

Disconnect the throttle
cable

Loosen clamps (3) responsible
for securing the throttle body to
intake manifolds (A).
Disconnect connector (B) of the
main wiring harness from throttle
position sensor (14).
Disconnect the connectors of the
main wiring harness from the
injectors (10).
Disconnect connector (C) of the main
wiring harness from the stepper
motor (17).
Remove the complete throttle
body (11) from the motorcycle.
Removing the throttle position
sensor
Throttle position sensor (14) is
installed on the RH-side of the throttle
body, in the position of the vertical
cylinder (MASTER) throttle. Undo the
two screws (15) to remove the throttle
position sensor from the throttle body.
Removing the injectors
Undo injector retaining clips (8) with
delivery hose (7), return hose (13)
and injector connection hose (12).
Undo screws (5) to remove the
injectors from the throttle body,
paying attention to washers (6).
Refitting the injectors
Lubricate the injector O-rings.
Install the washers (6) and tighten
screws (5) to the specified torque
(Sect. C 3).
Removing the stepper motor
The stepper motor is mounted in the
central part of the throttle body:
to remove it, remove the two screws
(21) and disconnect hoses (22), (20)
and (18) from the throttle body.
Refer to section M 3 for details of
stepper motor operation.
Refitting the stepper motor
Fit the hoses (22), (20) and (18).
Position the motor with its support
on the throttle body, starting
screws (21) in their threads.
Tighten screws (21).
