Cable Reel Replacement - '01-02 Models

1. Make sure the f r o n t wheels are aligned straight

2. Disconnect the battery negative cable, and w a i t at

least 3 minutes.

3. Remove the driver's airbag (see page 23-278).

4. Disconnect the connectors (A) f r o m the cruise

control set/resume switch and radio remote switch,

then remove the steering wheel bolt (B).

5. A l i g n the f r o n t wheels straight ahead, then remove

the steering w h e e l (see page 17-22).

6. Remove the dashboard lower cover (A).

7. Remove the c o l u m n cover screws (A), then remove

the c o l u m n covers (B, C).
