9. Check resistance between the No. 6 and No. 11
terminals of SRS unit connector B (14P). There
should be 0 - 1 . 0 Q.

Is the resistance
as
specified?
YES—Faulty driver's side impact sensor or SRS
unit; replace the driver's side impact sensor (see
page 23-299). If the problem is still present, replace
the SRS unit (see page 23-296). •
NO—Open in the SRS main harness or left side
w i r e harness; replace the faulty harness. •
DTC 13-4; Faulty power supply t o the driver's
side impact sensor
1. Erase the DTC m e m o r y (see page 23-45).
2. Turn the ignition switch ON (II), and check that t h e
SRS indicator light comes o n for about 6 seconds
and then goes off.
Does the SRS indicator
light stay
on?
Y E S - G o t o s t e p 3 .
NO—Intermittent failure, system is OK at this t i m e .
Go to Troubleshooting Intermittent Failures (see
page 23-45).
3. Turn the ignition switch OFF. Disconnect the
battery negative cable, and wait f o r 3 minutes.
4. Disconnect the driver's side airbag and front
passenger's side airbag 2P connectors (A).
