Did the system stop with the same error code as recorded in "Step 152l-1" on page 284?
Yes
Go to "Step 152l-33".
No
Go to "Step 152l-28".

One of the cards just removed is defective.
Turn off the power.
Make sure all the green "power good out" LEDs of both I/O subsystem DCAs are off.

Reinsert one of the cards that is removed and listed in "Step 152l-25" on page 286.

Turn on the power.
Step 152l-31
Did the system stop with the same error code as recorded in "Step 152l-1" on page 284?
Yes
The card just reinserted is defective. Replace it. This ends the procedure.
Return the system to its original configuration.
Go to "MAP 0410: Repair Checkout" in the RS/6000 and Eserver pSeries Diagnostic Information
for Multiple Bus Systems.
No
Go to "Step 152l-32".
Step 152l-32
Have all the cards listed in "Step 152l-25" on page 286 been reinserted?
Yes
The symptom has changed. This ends the procedure.
Return the system to its original configuration.
Go to "MAP 0410: Repair Checkout" in the RS/6000 and Eserver pSeries Diagnostic Information
for Multiple Bus Systems.
No
Go to "Step 152l-29".

Turn off the power.
Examine the green "power good out" LEDs of both I/O subsystem DCAs.

Are all the green "power good out" LEDs of both I/O subsystem DCAs off?
Yes
Go to "Step 152l-35".
No
Call for support.

Remove the following adapter cards, if present, from the I/O subsystem. Record the adapter locations:
v Adapter card at P2-I6
v Adapter card at P2-I7
v Adapter card at P2-I8
v Adapter card at P2-I9
v Adapter card at P2-I10
