OIL FILTER
REPLACEMENT
1. Place a drip pan under the oil filter.
2. Unscrew the oil filter from the cylinder block.
3. Clean the cylinder block mating surface.
4. Apply a small amount of clean engine oil to the O-ring of
the new filter.
5. Install the oil filter and tighten it by hand until the O-ring
contacts the cylinder block.
6. Tighten the oil filter 112 turn after the filter contacts the
mating surface.
7. Start the engine and check for leaks.
8. Check the oil level and add oil if necessary.
Oil filter capacity: 0.47 liters (0.5 US qt, 0.42 Imp qt)
