ACCELERATOR CABLE AND PEDAL
Removal / Inspection / Installation
1. Remove in
the
order shown in the figure.
2. Inspect all parts and repair or replace as necessary.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

lnspection
1. Verify that the throttle valve is fully closed.
2. Inspect the cable for restrictions.
3. Depress the accelerator pedal fully and verify that the
throttle valve is at wide open throttle.
4.
If not as specified, replace the accelerator cable.
Note
The accelerator cable is not adjustable.
