3. Remove the 3 screws and all harness connected
to scan assy.
3.2.2.4.2 Scan upper (Scan glass)
Note – Before disassembling the platen unit, remove the DADF unit (3.2.2.2) and OPE unit(3.2.2.3)
But, when replacing the DADF, Scanner, OPE unit on the whole, it is not necessary.
1. Remove the 6 screws (cap hole screw 3 EA)

4. Lift up and release the Platen Assy.

2. Open the side cover. Pull both bottom sides of
the scan upper , lift up and release it.
