2. Load your previous version of code on the device, as described in "Downloading a Firmware
Image" (page 2‐28).
3. Set this older version of code to be the boot code, as described in "Reviewing and Selecting a
Boot Firmware Image" (page 2‐31).
4. Reload the saved configuration onto the device as described in"configure" (page 2‐39).

Reviewing and Selecting a Boot Firmware Image

Purpose

To display and set the image file the switch loads at startup. The D2 switch allows you to
download and store a backup image, which can be selected as the startup image by using the
commands described in this section.
