Description
Click the radio buttons to enable or disable the CP configuration.
Enter to modify the configuration name.
Click the radio buttons to use HTTP or HTTPS as the protocol that CP configuration is
used during verification process.
Click the radio buttons to select the verification mode for the CP to verify clients.
Guest – The user does not need to be authenticated by a database.
Local – The Switch uses a local database to authenticate users.
RADIUS – The Switch uses a database on a remote RADIUS server to
authenticate users.
Click the radio buttons to enable or disable the ability for an authenticated user to de-
authenticate from the network.
Click the radio buttons to enable or disable the redirect mode for a CP configuration.
When the Redirect Mode is enabled, enter the URL to which the newly authenticated
client is redirected.
Enter the idle time in seconds to allow a user remain idle before automatically being
logged out. The value 0 indicates that the timeout is not enforced. The default value is
0.
Enter the waiting time in seconds before terminating a session. A user is logged out
once the session timeout is reached. The value 0 indicates that the timeout is not
enforced.
Enter the maximum rate, in bytes per second, that a client can transmit data into the
network when using the captive portal. The rate is between 0 and 536870911.
Enter the maximum rate, in bytes per second, that a client can receive data from the
network when using the captive portal. The rate is between 0 and 536870911.
Enter the maximum number of bytes that a client is allowed to receive when using the
captive portal. After this limit has been reached the user will be disconnected.
Enter the maximum number of bytes that a client is allowed to transmit when using
the captive portal. After this limit has been reached the user will be disconnected.
