Brake systems - Edition 11.2018
– Insert brake pedal load, , e.g. -V.A.G 1869/2- .
– Press down brake pedal with brake pedal load , e.g. -V.A.G
1869/2- , at least 60 mm.
– Tighten the bleeder valve and remove the hose of the bleeding
bottle.
– Do not remove brake pedal load , e. g. -V.A.G 1869/2- .
– Unscrew brake line from the brake caliper
CAUTION
The retaining spring is under load – there is a risk of injury.
– Lever the retaining spring -1- for the brake pads out of the
brake caliper -arrow- with a screwdriver -A-.
