– Pull vacuum hose -1- out of brake servo -2-.
– Unscrew the nuts -arrows B-.
– Remove holder -1- on gearbox bearing -3-.
– Unlock coolant lines -4- on bracket -arrow A- and remove.
– Place the coolant pipes down in the engine compartment.
– Release screw -5-.
– Unclip the electrical line -2- from the clip -3-.
– Unlock the distributor for the cable guide -1- -arrow-.
– Unlock and disconnect plug connection -4-.
– Lay distributor -1- to one side.
– Remove nut -arrow- and expose the electrical cable.
– Remove suction box for exhaust gas turbocharger with poten‐
tiometer for control valve - G584- ⇒ Rep. gr. 21 ; Turbo‐
charger; Replace pressure sump for turbocharger .
– Remove charge air pipe ⇒ Rep. gr. 21 ; Charge air system;
removing and installing air duct pipe .
– Remove knee airbag ⇒ Interior body work; Rep. gr. 69 ; Knee
airbags; removing and installing knee airbag with ignition .
– Remove the left footwell vent ⇒ Heating system, air condi‐
tioning system; Rep. gr. 87 ; Air duct; Remove and install
driver side footwell vent .
– Separate brake pedal from brake servo
