Loss of service
Perform this procedure during periods of low traffic.
Pull out the line drawer you have just identified.
Note: When dealing with a blown ringing fuse (56 to 63), begin with the
first LSG in the group.
DANGER
Personal injury
Exercise care when handling the line card. The line feed
resistor may be hot.
Unseat all the line cards in the drawer.
Note: Just unseat the line cards, do not remove them from the drawer.
If you are dealing with
any one of +5 V fuses
any one of +15 V or -48 V fuses
any one of ringing fuses
DANGER
Risk of fire
For continued protection against risk of fire, replace the
blown fuse with a fuse of the same type, rating (color code),
and manufacturer.
