3. Set the x16 rotary switch to C.

3.8 Installing or Removing Ball Stud Locks

Use the following procedure to install or remove optional ball stud locks.
Installing Ball Stud Locks
Use the following procedure to install ball stud locks.
1. Align the groove in the ball stud lock with the lip in the ball joint socket and then slide
the ball stud lock into position. No tools are required for this step.
2. Twist the ball stud lock back-and-forth slightly to ensure that it is fully seated. A fully
seated ball stuck lock is shown below.
