When you connect a computer to video input 4 and audio input 4 on a Polycom HDX 9006 system as follows,
audio from input 4 is muted unless video input 4 is selected as a video source.

your Vortex® mixer integration. InstantDesigner resolves many common issues
with connections and configuration settings.
To use a Polycom HDX system with audio input from a Vortex mixer, set the Input
Type to Line Input and disable Echo Canceller.
