Connecting a Computer to a Polycom HDX 9000 Series System

You can connect Polycom HDX 9000 series systems to a computer.
To connect a computer to a Polycom HDX 9001 or Polycom HDX 9002 system:
Option 1
Connect a Polycom HDX 9001 or Polycom HDX 9002 system to a computer using
●
A—DVI to VGA Monitor Cable
● B—3.5 mm stereo to RCA adapter cable.
●
C—Audio Adapter Cable
When you connect a computer to a Polycom HDX 9001 or Polycom HDX 9002 as follows, audio is only
heard at the far site and may be heard even when video input 4 is not selected.

Option 2
To hear audio at both the near site and the far site, use a bypass mixer to connect a computer to the Polycom
HDX 9001 or Polycom HDX 9002 system as the following figure shows.
