Routine Maintenance Procedures for the M320 Router on page 265
For optimum router performance, perform preventive maintenance procedures.
NOTE:
Some components, such as the Connector Interface Panel (CIP) and
the craft interface, require no maintenance.
On a regular basis:
Inspect the installation site for moisture, loose wires or cables, and excessive dust.
Make sure that airflow is unobstructed around the router and into the air intake vents.
Check the status-reporting devices on the craft interface: system alarms, LEDs, and
LCD.
Inspect the air filters at the bottom front and left rear of the router, replacing them
every 6 months. Do not run the router for more than a few minutes without the air filters
in place.
