100i Firmware
Intermec EasyCoder 501 XP & 601 XP – Service Manual
EasyLAN100i is a print server and can be added as an optional
board on EasyCoder 501 XP/601 XP. The print server firmware is
stored in a flash memory on this board.
1. Set a manual IP address from printers keyboard.
2. Start a DOS session and go to the map where the firmware is.
3. Here are the commands, each followed by Enter:
>ftp printer's IP address
>User? root
>Password? pass
>hash
>bin
>put EL100i.bin FLASH
.
.
>bye
Example:
Upgrade firmware from version 6.10 to version 6.20.
IP adress at printer 198.168.0.2 (manual setting) and at computer
198.168.0.1.
