    Chapter 7 Transfer Ribbon Mechanism Description 7.3 Ribbon Rewind The ribbon rewind unit is the same for EasyCoder 501 XP and Unit EasyCoder 601 XP. It pulls the transfer ribbon around the print- head and winds it up on a cardboard core. The unit is driven via a belt by the same stepper motor that drives the platen roller.
