Replacing the fixing temper-
ature sensor /4, and remov-
ing and reinstalling the fixing
temperature sensor /2 and
the thermostat /L
Caution:
• After reinstalling the fixing temperature sen-
sor /4, be sure to check that the sensor sec-
tion is in touch with the fixing roller. If not, the
temperature control may go abnormal or the
fixing temperature sensor /4 may detect the
low fixing temperature abnormality.
• Be sure to check that the wiring harness is
not in touch with the fixing roller.
Caution:
• The thermostat /L is an essential safety part.
Be sure to follow the cautions and steps
given below when removing and reinstalling.
Caution:
• After completion of the installation of the
thermostat /L, be sure to check that the wir-
ing harness is not in touch with the fixing
lower roller.
• Be sure to fasten the thermostat /L after posi-
tioning it properly with a positioning jig
(4969-1886-01). Be sure to apply screws with
screw lock paint. And also be sure to conduct
this adjustment under the pressure-released
condition and the temperature low condition
of the fixing roller /L.
