7.2.1 TEST Command
The TEST command is used to put the DECmux II unit into Test mode. This
will suspend normal operation, and for this reason, the operatOJ; is warned of
this effect and asked to verify the operation, as shown below.
When maintenance mode is entered successfully the test menu will be dis-
played. The eight off-line tests are described in Sections 7.2.2.1 through
7.2.2.8.
To select a test, enter the number of the test from the menu when prompted
to do so.
To restart the systenl, type < RETURN> at the Test Menu. This will cause
the multiplexer to reinitialize.
