Service Manual – Floortec R 870
LPG System Leakage Check
Warning!
This procedure has to be
performed by personnel
qualified to handle the LPG
systems, according to the law
in force.
Moreover, it is necessary to
wear accident-prevention
clothes, according to the
law in force (heavy gloves,
antistatic non-synthetic
clothes, suitable to cover the
whole body, antistatic and
antispark shoes, helmets with
visor; etc.).

After any maintenance or replacement
procedure involving operations on the fittings or
movement of LPG system components, check for
any LPG gas leaks as shown below

Turn the ignition key to "0" and engage the
parking brake

Open the engine compartment hood with the
handle and fasten it with the support rod
4
Remove the machine right body side, by lifting it
to disengage it from the fasteners
5
If the engine is hot, wait that it cools down.

By proceeding as shown in the User Manual,
check that the fitting (A) of the hose (B) is
properly connected to the fitting (C) of the LPG
tank (D) Check that the valve (E) of the LPG
tank (D) is closed
