2C-9 Rear Suspension:
5) Remove the pivot shaft end caps (4), left and right.
6) Remove the swingarm by removing the pivot shaft
and nut (5) and washer.

7) Remove the chain adjusters (6).
8) Remove the brake hose clamps.
9) Remove the chain buffer (7).

10) Remove the cushion rods (8).
Installation
Install the swingarm in the reverse order of removal. Pay
attention to the following points:
• Temporarily the cushion rod mounting nut.
NOTE
The stamped marks "A" on the cushion rod
should be face out side.
• Install the washer and swingarm pivot nut.
• Tighten the swingarm pivot nut to the specified torque.
Tightening torque
Swingarm pivot nut (a): 100 N·m (10.0 kgf-m, 72.5
lbf-ft)
