C14 (Use of mode select switch)
Step
1
1) Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2) Check the TP sensor coupler for loose or poor contacts.
If OK, then measure the TP sensor input voltage.
3) Disconnect the TP sensor coupler.
4) Turn the ignition switch ON.
5) Insert the needle pointed probes to the lead wire coupler.
6) Measure the input voltage at the R wire and ground.
If OK, then measure the input voltage at the R wire and
B/Br wire.
Special tool
(A): 09900–25008 (Multi-circuit tester set)
(B): 09900–25009 (Needle pointed probe set)
