Worn or damage drive and driven bevel
gears.
Excessive backlash.
Improper tooth contact.
Damage bearing.
Worn or rubbing gears.
Worn output shaft spline.
Too large front drive gear thrust
clearance.
Too large rear drive gear thrust
clearance.
Broken drive and driven bevel gear
teeth.
Worn or broken propeller shaft serration. Replace.
Broken or damaged front drive
(differential) gear or pinion.
Improperly operated front differential
shifting motor.
Worn or damaged shifting sleeve, shaft

shifting.
