1. Front output shaft bearing (Rear)
2. Front output shaft
3. Front output shaft housing
4. Front output shaft bearing (Front)
5. Shim(s)
6. Oil seal

Front Output Shaft Removal and Installation

Removal
1) Remove the engine assembly from the frame. Refer
to "Engine Assembly Removal in Section 1D
(Page 1D-13)".
2) Disassemble the engine top side. Refer to "Engine
Top Side Disassembly in Section 1D (Page 1D-17)".

Repair Instructions

7. Front drive collar assembly
: Apply grease.
: Apply water resistance grease.
: Apply engine oil.
: Do not reuse.
3) Separate the crankcase with the special tool. Refer
to "Engine Bottom Side Disassembly in Section 1D
(Page 1D-45)".
