Location: A text string that describes the system location.

(Maximum length: 255 characters)

Contact: A text string that describes the system contact.
(Maximum length: 255 characters)
Community Name (Read/Write): Defines the SNMP community access
■
string that has read/write access. Authorized management stations are
able to both retrieve and modify MIB objects. (Maximum length: 32
characters, case sensitive)
Community Name (Read Only): Defines the SNMP community access

string that has read-only access. Authorized management stations are only
able to retrieve MIB objects. (Maximum length: 32 characters, case sensi
tive)
To Enable SNMP and Set Parameters:
1.
Select the Configuration tab.
2.
Click the [
SNMP]
button.
3.
Select Enable to enable SNMP management.
4.
Type text strings to replace the default community names for read-only
and read/write access. (Recommended for security.)
5. (Optional) Type a text string to identify the location of the access point in
the Location text field.
6. (Optional) Type a text string or name to identify a system administration
contact in the Contact text field.
7.
Click the
[Apply Changes]
button.
