Managing SNMP Traps
SNMP trap events are logged and sent out via SNMP. For trap management, use the CLI commands listed
below.
Traps can be enabled for the following features:

Authentication
•
Link up/down
•
Multiple users
•
Spanning Tree
•
OSPF
•
DVMRP
•
PIM (both DM and SM with one command)
Note: The DVMRP, OSPF, and PIM traps and associated commands are supported only in the
Layer 3 software image of SFTOS.
