4. Reconnect all peripheral devices and the AC power cord.

Removing and Installing the Processor Air Duct

Always operate your server server system with the processor air duct in place. The air duct
is required for proper airflow within the server system.

Removing the Processor Air Duct

1. Observe the safety and ESD precautions at the beginning of this book. See
Information" on page
2. Power down the server and unplug all peripheral devices and the AC power cable.
3. Remove the server system cover. For instructions, see
System Cover" on page
4. Lift the processor air duct from its location behind the two system blower fans. See
Figure 24
for the Intel® Server System SR1530HCL / SR1530HCLS and the Intel® Server
System SR1530HCLR / SR1530HCLSR.
