10. Set the drive assembly into place in the chassis (see letter "A" in the following
figure). Attach the drive assembly to the chassis with the screw that you removed
previously (see letter "B").
Note: The assembly that contains the optical drive bracket must be installed at the left side of the
system.

Drive (SR1530HCL/SR1530HCLS and
SR1530HCLR/SR1530HCLSR)
Up to three hot-swappable SAS/SATA drives can be installed. The HDD0 drive bay is at
the left side of the chassis. The HDD1 drive bay is in the middle of the chassis, underneath
the optional optical drive. The HDD2 drive bay is at the right side of the chassis. The
drives do not need to be installed in order; HDD1 can be installed before HDD0.
Caution: If you install less than three drives or devices, the empty drive bays must be occupied by
carriers with baffles to maintain proper system cooling.
