Forcing a BMC Update

1. Power down the system and disconnect the AC power.
2. Open the server.
3. Move the jumper from the Disabled position, covering pins 1 and 2 to the Enabled
position, covering pins 2 and 3.

4. Reconnect the AC power
5. Power up the system.
6. When the system begins beeping, power it down and disconnect the AC power.
7. Return the jumper to the Disabled location, covering pins 1 and 2.
8. Close the server chassis.
9. Reconnect the AC power and power up the system.
