Device placement
For the best 4G mobile network connection, the gateway should be placed close to a window but away from
direct sunlight.
For the best Wi-Fi network performance, the gateway should be placed in a central location (e.g. in a room in
a middle of your home).
If a larger area needs Wi-Fi coverage, the NetComm CloudMesh Satellite (NS-02) is designed to expand your
Wi-Fi network coverage and is available as an optional accessory.
Connecting via NBN™
Your nbn™ internet service provider will contact you when your service is activated. You can set up your
gateway before this time, if you have the required nbn™ hardware.
Once your service is activated, it's time to complete the set-up of your Wi-Fi 6 CloudMesh Hybrid Gateway.
Your internet service provider generally confirms your nbn™ technology type in your order confirmation
email.
You can also check this at www.nbnco.com.au
1 Turn off your Wi-Fi 6 CloudMesh Hybrid Gateway at the power outlet.
2 Follow the set-up instructions on the following pages for your nbn™ technology type.
3 You can then switch the Wi-Fi 6 CloudMesh Hybrid Gateway back on at the power outlet. When the
INTERNET light is solid green, your nbn™ service is ready to use.
