The Wi-Fi 6 Hybrid Gateway can connect to a fixed line service and/or a mobile network. The gateway will prioritize fixed line connections over the 4G mobile network. If you have a fixed line service active and connected to the gateway, the 4G service will act as a backup in case the fixed line service fails.
GETTING ONLINE VIA THE MOBILE NETWORK If you have a SIM card with a data plan, it’s as easy as inserting the SIM card and turning on the Wi-Fi 6 Hybrid Gateway. Refer to pages 2 and 3 for further detail. If your device has a SIM pre-installed by your carrier, then all you have to do is turn it on.
For the best Wi-Fi network performance, the gateway should be placed in a central location (e.g. in a room in a middle of your home). If a larger area needs Wi-Fi coverage, the NetComm CloudMesh Satellite (NS-02) is designed to expand your Wi-Fi network coverage...

CONNECTING TO THE WI-FI 6 HYBRID GATEWAY There are two ways that you can connect to Wi-Fi. - Using your smartphone or tablet camera, scan the QR code on the gateway’s label or Wi-Fi Security Card. Follow your device’s instructions to connect to Wi-Fi. - Perform a manual network scan from your device and select the gateway’s network name, then enter the Wi-Fi Password.
TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS If you are experiencing difficulties with your internet connection, please try the following: Power the gateway off. Check that the cables have been plugged in correctly. After 2 minutes, power on the gateway again. Wait for the INTERNET light to turn solid green. In some instances it may take up to 20 minutes for your internet service to work.
