The exit sensor does not turn off after the fuser sensor turns off during paper feed from cassette 1-7, the
duplex section or the MP tray.

Measures
A piece of paper or the for-
eign objects are adhered on
the conveying path, or if the
parts such as the guide or
the actuator has burrs,
remove them.
Reinstall the conveying
guide. If there are burrs on
the conveying surface of the
conveying guide, remove
them. If not repaired, replace
it.
The actuator or the spring is
deformed, or if not properly
operate, replace it.
Remove the bent paper.
Fix or replace paper. If it is
difficult to replace, relocate
the leading edge with the
trailing edge of the paper to
feed or turn over the paper,
and reinstall it.
Explain to the user to use the
paper within the specifica-
tions.
Remove the paper with for-
eign objects.
Lower the fuser temperature
during the print at U161.
Replace the paper if it is
damp. (Replace with long
grain paper.)
Set the proper media type via
the System Menu.
Reconnect the connector of
the exit unit.
