direction of the HP sensor change.

The DF staple motor does
not rotate due to heavy
load.
The connector is not con-
nected properly, or the wire
is faulty.
DF staple unit is faulty.

faulty.

nected properly, or the wire

Measures
Remove jammed staples
from the staple cartridge.
Check if the DF staple motor
rotates manually. Replace the
DF staple unit if it does not
rotate smoothly due to the
damaged gear, etc.
Clean the terminal of the fol-
lowing wire connectors and
reconnect the connectors.
If there is no continuity,
replace the wire.

Replace DF staple unit.
Replace DF staple relay

Replace the DF PWB.
Measures
Clean the terminal of the fol-
lowing wire connectors and
reconnect the connectors.
