C7001: Toner motor error
The lock-up is detected 5 times continuously at every 200ms and this continued 30 sets totally (5 times x 30).

Assumed cause
The spiral in the toner con-
tainer cannot rotate.
The toner container drive
parts does not properly
operate, or have excessive
load.
The connector is not prop-
erly connected. Or, the
wire is faulty.
The toner motor is faulty.
The firmware is not the lat-
est version.

Measures
Check the spiral in the toner
container rotates manually.
Then check each gear. If it is
damaged, replace the toner
container.
Pull out the toner container
and execute U135. Check if
the drive gears can rotate
smoothly and have no exces-
sive load. If they are faulty,
replace them.
Clean the terminal of the fol-
lowing wire connectors and
reconnect the connectors. If
there is no continuity, replace
the wire. •Toner motor -
Engine PWB
Reattach the toner motor. If
not repaired, replace the
motor.
Upgrade the engine firmware
to the latest version
Replace the engine PWB.
