You can remove fibers by hands. If dense fibers are installed, you can use a fiber extractor
to remove fibers. The following figure shows the appearance of a fiber extractor.
Clamp the top and bottom sides of an LC/PC connector using hands or a fiber
extractor and press the spring.
Remove the fiber connector.
Cover the fiber connector with a dust cap.
