Step 8 Install the optical fibers or cables based on the recorded information and restore
the fiber or cable connections.
Step 9 Run the display device command to query the running status of the new board. If
the Status column displays only Normal, the board is running properly.

Follow-up Procedure
After replacing a part, collect the tools. If the part is faulty, maintenance personnel
should fill in the Offsite Repair Card for Faulty Materials, and send the card and
the faulty part to Huawei for timely maintenance.
4.1.2.5 Replacing the PIC Board
Impact on the System
Replacing the PIC board will interrupt services for about three to five minutes.
Issue 05 (2023-03-31)
the board's positioning pin contacts the chassis's positioning holes, stop
pushing the board.
Rotate the ejector levers to the closed position (the positioning bolts will be in
the positioning holes).
Tighten the captive screws clockwise using a Phillips screwdriver to fix the
board.
NO TE
If the PROG indicator is blinking, the board is being initialized, and software is being
loaded. If the STAT and PROG indicators are steady green, the board is working
properly, and software has been loaded.
